Prince of Asturias accepts Honorary Presidency of EUROAL for second consecutive year

For the second consecutive year, the Prince of Asturias accepts the Honorary Presidency of EUROAL.  The chairman of the fair’s organizing committee and general director of the Congress and Exposition Palace of Torremolinos, Luis Callejon, expressed his great satisfaction for the repetition of this public show of support from the highest Spanish institution for the initiative which was promoted by the Municipality of Torremolinos and its congress palace in 2006, and which in 2007 was joined by the World Tourism Organization, through its entry into the shared presidency.

EUROAL 2008 will bring together travel agents, tour operators, institutions and public and private touristic promotion entities in European and Latin American countries and regions in a reciprocal gesture of promotion of their touristic destinations.  The fair will be open to the general public on May 31st and June 1st, days in which the “Vacation Market” will be held with the sale of vacation packages from retail travel agencies at promotional prices.

The 50th Congress of the Confederation of Latin American Tourism Organizations (COTAL) will be held by travel agents and touristic businesspeople gathered together in the framework of EUROAL 2008.
