60 EUROPEAN TRAVEL COMPANIES WILL BE PRESENT AT THE 3rd ‘EUROAL’ FAIR OF LATIN AMERICAN TOURISM Close to 60 travel companies, among them European agencies and tour operators, will participate in the business roundtable or workshops of the 3rd Fair of Latin American and European Tourism, Art and Culture. ‘EUROAL 2008,’ the new acronym for what was until now EUROCOTAL, will be held in the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones, or Congress and Expositions Palace, of Torremolinos (Costa del Sol), Spain, from the 29th of May to the 1st of June. The information has been advanced by the co-president of the fair’s organizing committee, Luis Callejón. After the entry of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) into the executive committee of the exhibition through its representative in Spain, Eduardo Fayòs-Solá in the 2007 edition, the fair has consolidated its international prestige- despite its youth- as an effective tool for the reverse marketing of touristic products to both sides of the Atlantic. The principal organizations, institutions and entities of the touristic and business sectors of Costa del Sol are part of the organizing committee of the Fair of Latin American and European Tourism, Art and Culture. Among the novelties of the third edition of the exhibition is the entry of the airport and port authorities AEMA and Puerto de Malaga, respectively, and the RENFE-AVE Consortium among the sponsoring entities and collaborators. Touristic institutions of Costa del Sol will take advantage of EUROAL 2008 to promote, to European and Latin American tour operators, the communications infrastructures of Malaga with the rest of the world.
