Cartagena of the West Indies is a colonial-style city located at the northeastern of Colombia, in the center of the Caribbean shore line.

ISLANDS
At only 40 minutes away from the city by boat, Cartagena offers to its visitors the most exciting landscapes which include 50 islands, 6 ecological reserves and 18,000 hectares of marine and submarine parks.

Tierrabomba’s island is an obligatory pass while heading to Cartagena’s Bay, that’s the reason why it is full of fortresses and Colonial history. You can find there a varied hotel and restaurant infrastructure and entertainments that make a more pleasant stay at beaches.

The Rosario’s islands form an archipelago surrounded by transparent water full of fishes, reefs and different marine flora and fauna.

It’s the perfect place for enjoying the sun, practicing nautical sports or planning campaign trips with family or friends.   Baru can be accessed by car crossing the Dique’s Channel (dry dock) or by boat crossing Cartagena’s Bay.
