Through
the ways of the wine you may known the cellars of Mendoza
and enjoy excellent wines, that are the product of the Ecological
Wine culture and have- all the red- and a high antioxidant
capacity associated with different pholifenol amounts in its
content.
In the last three years an important reconvention of vineyards,
what allows Mendoza as the point of the ax of the Argentina,
have a biggest amount of high quality wines to satisfy the
increasing demand of the international market. In the mentioned
period were implanted in Mendoza province more than 25.000
Hectare of new vineyards of fine varieties of grapes.
Between the tinge ones the ranking head belongs to Malbec
variety, followed by Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and Bonarda;

Oasis centre-west
Located in the North of the province and surrounded by Mendoza
River, it is located at "Piedemonte"(between the
650 and the 1.060 meters high) and includes principally the
vineyards of Luján de Cuyo and Maipú provinces.

this area in the most important in fine wine production, as
red as white.
Valle
del Viejo Wine Route(City, Guaymallén, Godoy Cruz)
Departure from Mendoza city we may visit the Foundational
Area Museum, where archeological vestiges of the Antique city

Santa Ana vineyards and cellars (found at 1891), with its
unique end of XIX century architecture that combined with
a modern division factory; and Escorihuela cellar (1884),

and Arboledas" Wine Route (Maipú)

The visit continues by "Vino Casa Giol" National
Museum and the rural cellar (1885), where you will find the

their gardens, walls and floors. The "Trapiche"
Cellar amazed their visitors by being one of the biggest of
the country, with an important French touch. It is pioneer
in technical innovation and conquering new markets; their
wines have obtained numerous awards. We will make another
scale, at El "Cerno" vineyard and you will be the
main character of an entertaining kina of tasting, guided
by their own owners.
The
wine route Ravines of the River (Maipú)
This Viticultural region of rocky lands its located to 30
kilometers from the city, in the surrounding areas to the
Mendoza River ravines. The visit includes "Finca Flichman"
(1873), situated in where once was the Huarpe settlement,
a cellar of familiar origin that today still produce high
quality wines, with a well define Argentian character.
Few steps from there we will find "Nuestra Señora
del Rosario" Chappel, the most antique of the province.
To finish our tour we will visit "Cruz de Piedra"
cellar that distinguished itself by the Mediterranean architecture
style and the conjunction with the high technology used in
the fine wine elaboration. From its balconies it is possible
to appreciate their big extensions of vineyards.
The
wine route Altos of the River 1 (Luján de Cuyo)
By the high area of Mendoza River, Known by the quality of
its wines, we will find the "Etchart" Cellars, acquired
in 1996 by an important French group, here a variety of wines
are produced and were recognized with numerous awards in the
last years. At "Chandon" Cellars (1959) the first
filial created outside France, well known in the country varieties
of champagne are produced with the highest technology. To
finish at "Dolium" where you will appreciate the
new cellars international style design tendencies will be
appreciated: It’s the first Mendoza totally subterranean
boutique cellar.
The
wine route High River 2 (Luján de Cuyo)
In this case you may taste high quality wines from the centenary
Norton Cellar one of the best equipped of the country while
you enjoy of the great pan view of the Andes Mountain Range,
from the wide balcony of its Wine-bar. Few meters from "Cabrini",
a family cellar famous by Mass wines production (Supplier
of the Vatican) and Varietals wine production.
At the end of the path, the "Viniterra" wine shop
offers a entire line of accessories for wine, famous cigars
and, obviously the fundamental: their famous variety of wines
of noble stumps.
Wine
Cellar La Carrodilla (Luján de Cuyo)
The "Lagarde" cellar recognized by their prestigious
wines, overall the red ones, elaborated in limited amounts
at the centenary of their original establishment nearby Luján
de Cuyo city.
In the proximity of "Emiliano Guiñazú"
Provincial Beauty Arts Museum, where the famous painter from
Mendoza Fernando Fader lived. The Chacras de Coria area offers
their exclusive Alfredo Catena wine cellars, elaborated by

In the return way, at "Carrodilla" district, we
can visit a small by antique cellar carefully restored by
being adapted to the actual necessities: Amalia Vineyard (1922),
with their cellars made in American and French Oak.
A little by the North of "Carrodilla" Sanctuary

Holy Week.
The
Wine Route of Vistalba Valley (Luján de Cuyo)
This valley, appreciated by its beauty and the quality of
their wines, it is located at the Andes foots. In "Nieto
Senetiner" Cellars (1905), with its typical construction
of wood, clay and cane you will enjoy the ritual of its exclusive
red wine tasting, in front of the majestic Plata mountain
string landscapes. At "Domaine Vistalba" you will
appreciate the combination of the French savoir faire with
the typical of this lands, because is the first artisan cellar
built with a similar Galos Chateux design in Argentina.
In our return path we will visit a small cellar of Varietals
wines of young style and artisan elaborated in a hall that
preserve the traditional style.
East
Oasis
The east oasis from Mendoza is a plane which an altitude between
640 and 750 meters that received the waters of "Tunuyán"
River and covered the cultivate part of Junín, Rivadavia,
San Martín and Santa Rosa provinces.
This wide oasis has the major production fo the province,
where a large variety of grapes are growing. The wines routes
are in develop, being the Agricultural cellar an excellent
referent of the Viticultural virtues development of the area.
South
Oasis
The south oasis its conformed by San Rafael and General Alvear
provinces, and irrigated by Atuel and Diamante Rivers (between
450 and 800 meters high). It is the principal production area
of Chenin stump that provides its characteristics to the white
wines of the region, and also produced good red wines.
A lot of the open to the tourism cellars belongs to traditional
families from Mendoza that brings them life and today produce
wines with the experience that are legacy from the founders.

routes south portal
In this full day we will visit the youngest and modern "Valentín
Biancai" Cellar, and also produces Champagne, it is located

in Wood shelving’s and you will visit a digging with
an amazing acoustic.
To short distance, at "Jean Rivier" familiar Cellar,
of Swiss origin, their own owners will explain us all the
elaboration wine steps, most of them could be taste directly
from the vessel that contained them.
In the centre of the city you will know the Foundation Cellar
of "Valentín Bianchi", builted at 1928, which
labyrinthine corridors contained part of this traditional
family history.
Wine
route San Rafael del Díamante
This full day tour is developed too by the route that lead
to General Alvear and starts at "Roca" Cellar, where
the visitors are welcomed by the fourth generation of a family
dedicated to the art of wine elaboration. A couple of kilometers
away we will find "Lavaque" Cellars, which attract
the visitors by its colonial architecture and by the acre
environment where the wines are elaborated.
Following the way and few meters before reach Villa Atuel
city, we will arrive at "Goyenechea" Cellar. At
this place you will know the commitment of five generations
of a Basque family with the wine culture and a silent environment
frame.
Wine
Route Uco Valley Oasis
It is located at Mendoza city southwest in the "Tunuyán"
River Basin and its formed by Tupungato, Tunuyán and
San Carlos provinces (900 and 1.500 meters high). Actually
this area is the most evolved in Vitivinicultural investments.
This region, were apple, pears, nuts and cherries crops grow
is perfect for growing high quality stumps, shown the new
direction of the Argentinean Viticulture.
At San José and with the "Tupungato" Volcanoe
denominated the landscape, we will find small familiar cellar,
"Estancia Ancón", that produce varietals
wines from vineyards located at 1.500 meters of high.
Traveling to the south we will arrive at Los Arboles, Tunuyán
districts where "Salentein" Cellar combine cellar
tradition of Mendoza with the European tradition. This cellar
was built at the Mountain Range base unique construction in
its type in cross form. Each of its four wings is a small
cellar that has two sections: one at floor level and other
subterranean, for the raise of wines in oak containers, to
eight meters of deep.
In the way to the historic "Manzano" are located
Jacques y Francois Lurton new cellar, this recognized cellarers
of French origin found in this lands the best conditions to
elaborate their own Argentian wines and joined them to their
range of products developed in other viticulture countries.

At "San Carlos Fapes" cellar is one of the most
antiques in the area and distinguishes itself by the art of
combine tradition with the new tendencies.
The enthusiasm of its owners will allows us discover the wine
secrets in a friendly environment. Finally "Finca La
Celia" located at Eugenio Bustos, is part of the history
of the picturesque town. Their owners are owners too of one
of the most successful cellars in Chile, and they have known
how to rescue the architecture of this antique cellar and
incorporate the most modern technology.
