First boutique hotel will be
opened in Rosario

On
December 10th, with the opening
of the Savoy, Rosario will have
the first prototype boutique
hotel, with the renovation of
the former San Lorenzo and San
Martin building and a large
part of its furniture. |

will cease flying to 12 national

its operations in 25 destinations

OceanAir will no longer operate

Uberaba, Sao Jose dos Campos,
Juazeiro do Norte, Joao Pessoa,

Varig
cancels flights to Spain after
5 months of operations |
Varig’s
final flight between Madrid
and Sao Paulo departed on May
12th after the company decided
to cancel this route, which
began operating in the Barajas
airport in December. |

Air to operate again in the country |

a meeting held in Brasilia between
the president of Embratur and
the manager of Business Development
and Marketing of Korean Air for
Latin America, the return of the
airline to Brasil was confirmed.
As of June 3rd, Korean Air will

three times per week. |

flyer program agreement |
Frequent
flyers of LAN and TAM will be

of an agreement reached last
year whose aim is to expand

clients. LANPASS members will
accumulate mileage from their
flights with TAM and will be
able to earn rewards for flights

Fares
for the Machu Picchu-Aguas Calientes
route will increase |
The
Conseltur Machu Picchu consortium
announced the increase of its
fares for the transportation
service from Machu Picchu Pueblo
(Aguas Calientes) to the Historical
Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and
vice versa, which will be put
into effect on June 1st. The
company indicated that the cost
per foreign adult for roundtrip
service will be US$ 14, while
the price per foreign child
will be US$ 7. |
