| LAN has more flights
to Patagonia |
Starting from
October, LAN will begin to fly
to the cities of El Calafate
and Ushuaia. These routes will
be covered during the summer
season with four weekly frequencies.
The airline will also begin
to fly between Ushuaia and Santiago
de Chile, with a stopover in
Punta Arenas. |
| Aerolineas resumes
Cordoba-Rio route |
| As from December
16th, Aerolineas Argentinas will
resume its direct flights between
Cordoba and Rio de Janeiro which
had been discontinued in March,
2005. The weekly route will be
covered by a Boeing 737/500. |
| Cruiser season
began in Ushuaia |
| During the summer
season, Ushuaia will receive large
capacity cruisers such as Norwegian
Dream (with a capacity for 1.748
passengers and 614 crew members),
the Infinity ship (with a capacity
for 1.950 passengers and 1.001
crew members), the Panamanian
flag ship The Topaz, also known
as Peaceboat (with 1.600 passengers
and 550 crew members) and the
Artemio cruiser (with 1.120 passengers
and 537 crew members). |

will be exclusively aimed at Corporate

of South America inaugurated in
Puerto Madero |
| The Starwood group
informed that the first hotel
of its St. Regis chain will be
inaugurated in Puerto Madero in
2010. This hotel will have 160
rooms and will be managed by Starwood,
although First South American
Investments -a Greek investment
group-, will be in charge of the
investment. |

increases frequencies to Montevideo |
| American Airlines
will add two new flights to
its frequencies between the
United States and Uruguay, as
informed by airline sources.
With these two new frequencies,
there will be five weekly flights
between the two countries. |

| As from November
5th, TAM will fly daily to Montevideo,
Uruguay, departing from the
Guarulhos International Airport

includes a five-star hotel which

for luxury tourist train between

| The State Railway
Company called for bids for the
“Tourist Train”, a
service that would operate starting
from the next year between Santiago
and Puerto Montt. This service
is aimed at the transport of high-income
tourists, mainly European, who
would pay more than US$ 3.000
to travel through the most attractive
regions of Chile by train. |

Nasca |
| Mincetur announced
the investments that will be
carried out in Nasca during
the 2007-2013 period through
the Copesco Plan. These investments
are valued in more than S/.

hotel chains invest US $ 300 million |
| PromPeru announced
that several international hotel
chains -Intercontinental Radisson
or Hyatt among them- will invest
US$ 300 million (€ 212 million)
in the next 2 years, for the inauguration
of 40 four or five-star hotels. |
| 66 large hotel
projects will be developed |
| The Peru Hotels
Society stated that, during the
next three years, diverse national
and foreign companies will develop
66 large hotel projects in Lima
and the provinces. Among these
companies there are Pestana, from
Portugal, and Aman Group, from
Singapour. This latter company
wants to construct a boutique
hotel in the Sacred Valley of
Cuzco. |
| Night flights
to Cusco will begin in mid 2008 |
| In the middle
of 2008, the airport of Cusco
would change its current service
hours (from 6 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.)
and would also start to operate
in the evening, which could increase
in up to 40% the current number
of passengers, which is around
one million. |
| Airport of Cusco
will be expanded to improve service |
| In order to provide
a better service to national and
international passengers, the
international boarding area of
the Alejandro Velasco Astete airport
will be expanded. The works will
conclude in 120 days. |
| Entry to the Paracas
Reserve will be reopened on October
21st |
| The opening of
the tourist circuit in the Paracas
National Reserve has been programmed
for October 12th. |
| Traffic and air
flights will be restricted for
census |
| The 2007 National
Census, programmed for October
21st, will be carried out under
a series of restrictions. Public
transport and private vehicles,
as well as inter-provincial buses,
aircrafts or ships, in national
and private itineraries, will
not be able to circulate between
08.00 and 18.00 hours. According
to the INEI, except for the international
flights, all domestic flights
will be suspended, as well as
the entry and exit of people and
vehicles. |

of air routes with Brasil under
analysis |
| The presidents
of Ecuador and Brasil discussed
the establishment of connecting
routes with several airlines,
such as Ocean Air and Tame which
would connect Quito, Manta and
Guayaquil with Manaus. The negotiation
also includes new routes of
Copa between both countries,
via Panama. |

Airport, of San Pedro Sula,

The Federal
Commission on Competition authorized
the sale of the Aeromexico shares
to the Modelo Group and the
Banamex Group. The latter’s
proposal reached US$ 151 million.
Other interested participants
raised their bids and reached

de Aviacion group would be the
third interested party. |
