extends its fleet |
| Aerolineas Argentinas
will receive the first of seven
Boeing 737-500 aircrafts that
will be operated by the company
until the end of the year. The
final fleet will have 18 aircrafts
of this model. Additionally, until
the end of the year, the airline
will include four Airbus aircrafts,
two A310 and two A340. |

enter into an agreement with Delta

Argentinas might enter into a
complementarity agreement to allow
Delta to distribute Aerolineas
Argentinas’ passengers in
the United States, while the Marsans
group company would do the same

luxury train will be inaugurated
in November |
| The first Brazilian
luxury train, the Great Brasil
Express, will make its inaugural
trip in the second fortnight of
November in the state of Parana.
The train will cover almost 500
kilometers between the cities
of Ponta Grossa and Foz de Iguazu.
It will have a capacity for 60
passengers who will have comforts
such as “large seats, bar
service, television and a unique
environment thanks to the typically
Brazilian decoration". The
train is planned to make four
journeys per month. |

Airlines sign code-sharing agreement

| TAM and United
Airlines signed a code-sharing
agreement, which will allow them
to go to more international destinations.
The agreement will open connections
for clients of both companies
for new destinations in South
America and The United States
and will extend the opportunities
for frequent passengers from both
companies. |

| Santiago
and Havana connected again |
| Cubana de Aviacion
will resume its non-stop flights
between Santiago and Havana in
January 2008. The announcement
was carried out by the chairman
of the company in a ceremony at
the Jose Marti Airport of Havana.
The aircraft that will be used
in these operations is an IL 96,
recently bought by Cubana de Aviacion,
which can accommodate 18 executive
class passengers and 244 tourist
class passengers. |
| Hyatt will manage
new hotel in Frutillar |
| Global Hyatt Corporation
reached an agreement with Patagonia
Virgin to manage the Park Hyatt
Patagonia Resort in Frutillar,
which will be inaugurated in 2009.
The project is part of a mixed
type resort, which will include
hotels and apartment buildings
and will be located on the shores
of the Llanquihue Lake, in a 200
hectares extension. |

trips of La Paz have new guides
|
| The Tourist Promotion
Direction of the Economic Promotion
Bureau, and the organization for
the tourist promotion of La Paz
– Beni, finished the training
workshops for the guides of the
free Sunday tourist circuits in
La Paz. The guides were trained
to provide information about the
municipal museums, the history
and heritage of the city, and
the symbols and landscape relevance
of viewpoints. |

operations with a Venezuelan aircraft

| LAB expects to
resume its operations with the
arrival of the Venezuelan aircraft
Boeing 737-200, which belongs
to Combiasa, flag Venezuelan airline
which provides commercial flights. |
| AeroSur extends
its international flights |
| AeroSur will start
on July 11th, its flights to Salta,
Argentina, in order to cover the
passenger demand in the Argentinean
north, the Bolivian airline announced.
It also pointed out that, after
Buenos Aires, the new route is
the second destination in the
country. The flights, which will
be carried out on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays, will be operated
by a Boeing 737-200. |

Peru, which is aimed at showing

of Cusco. The project includes
3 stages where a theatrical play
perfectly combined with 18 dances
from the coast, the mountains
and the jungle are outstanding. |

will start operations |
| Spirit Airlines
will start to fly to Peru on June
27. The American airline, in its
first entry to the South American
market, arrives to Peru with an
offer of 1,008 weekly seats, which
allows to predict an increase
of American visitors. |
| LAN Airlines increases
frequency of flights |
| From May 31th,
and until March 31th, 2008, there
will be eight weekly frequencies
to New York and Los Angeles, after
the schedule to increase the frequencies
of fifth freedom flights for Lan
Airlines was established. The
number of frequencies was increased
to 11 weekly frequencies starting
from April 1st 2008 until March
31th 2009. Likewise, traffic rights
of fourth and third freedom were
established for 21 weekly frequencies
in the Santiago-Lima and Lima-Santiago
routes. |

will extends its fleet |
| Aerogal will extend
its fleet in the following months.
There will be three additional
aircrafts to the existing nine
the airline has and they will
be used for domestic routes and
one for the Miami route. The incorporation
will be carried out through leasing
with monthly installments ranging
from US$ 100, 000 to US$ 300,000. |

6th, the Colombian Association
of Travel and Tourism Agencies,
ANATO, will carry out in Cartagena
its 12th National Congress. The
venue will be the Hilton hotel

speakers from Brasil, Spain, Argentina

| When they knew
the intention of Spirit Airlines
to fly from Fort Lauderdale to
Barranquilla and Bogota, American
Airlines decided to return to
Barranquilla with a daily flight,
starting from December 13th. |

| Frontier, the
low cost airline, announced it
will fly from Denver to Costa
Rica starting from November 30th.
The tickets are already for sale

| The tourist police
of Cozumel Island received eight
Segway vehicles, which will be
used to provide a better surveillance
and service to the visitors. With
these modern cars, the tourist

Avenue. |

Film Festival Cancun-Riviera will

flights |
| Emirates Airlines
(EK) officially announced that
it will operate regular, non-regular
and charter flights from Dubai
to Dominican Republic and vice
versa, by means of an understanding
memorandum entered into by both
governments and which does not
