| LoiSuites inaugurates
second 5-star hotel |
| The hotel
chain LoiSuites recently inaugurated
its second 5-star hotel. Located
in a privileged area in San
Martin de los Andes on the 234
Route, 7 kilometers from the
town of San Martin de los Andes,
LoiSuites Chapelco Hotel has
76 rooms and 9 suites. By 2008,
the inauguration of two more
hotels is expected, one in the
town of Neuquen and another
in Puerto Iguazu. |
| Radisson inaugurates
a new hotel in Cordoba |
| The Radisson chain
entered into an agreement to open
the first of at least ten hotels
in Argentina. The five-star hotel
is part of a premium housing and
business complex right in the
center of the provincial capital,
which is being constructed with
a US$ 50 million investment. The
hotel, which will be ready in
December 2010, will have 200 rooms,
a convention center, spa and swimming-pool. |

to Buenos Aires |
| AeroSur Paraguay
will begin flights between Asuncion
and Buenos Aires with a Boeing
737/200 by the end of the month.

formalize code-share |
| On December
1st, TAM and Lufthansa formalized
their code sharing agreement
on national and international
routes between Brasil and Germany.
This agreement will be effective
as from the first semester of

December 21st |
| On December 21st,
the Brasilian airline will be
included in the list of companies
that link Spain with Brasil, after
announcing that the beginning
of the route that will link Madrid
with Sao Paulo, with a weekly
flight in an Airbus A330 aircraft,
will be carried out on that date. |

| Luxury Tourism
increased by 5% |
The companies
are promoting the increase of
luxury tourism, which focuses
on the high-income level clients
to whom they provide a customized
attention. The Peru Hotels Society
pointed out that these efforts
are reflected on the growth
of the luxury foreign tourism
(foreigners who arrive to the
country) which grew by 20%.

would be the third highest in
the world |
| The Ministry of
Foreign Commerce and Tourism confirmed
that the Yumbilla Waterfall, located
in the district of Cuispes, in
the department of Amazonas, has
a height of 895.4831 meters with
four large waterfalls. Thus, the
Yumbilla waterfall would be the
third highest in the world. |
| Primaris invests
US$ 28 million to begin its flights |
| With a US$ 28
million investment, Primaris Airlines
Inc. inaugurated last Thursday
its international flights from
Peru to the United States with
direct routes to Miami and Washington. |
| Sky Airline began
flights between Arequipa and Arica |
| Sky Airline began
its international service between
Arequipa and Arica. The service
will consist of three weekly flights
which have been programmed on
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The president of the Association
of Travel and Tourism Agencies
of Arequipa stated that the airline
operates with Boeing 737 and 727
aircrafts with a capacity for
110 passengers. The initial goal
is that around 40 people travel
in each flight from Arequipa.
They will have promotional fares
during the first month of operations. |

in Brasil |
The director
of Tourist Promotion of Ecuador
announced the first direct flight
from Quito to Sao Paulo, Rio
de Janeiro and Manaos. The airline
that will serve this flight
is TAME, which is negotiating
the purchase of two aircrafts
from Embraer for this purpose.
Ecuador will invest approximately
US$800,000 in 2008 to promote
itself in Brasil. Last year,
Ecuador received near to 14,000
Brasilian tourists. |

Miami are linked |
| The connection
between Guayaquil and Miami is
imminent. Aerogal has decided
to place 80 passengers per flight,
on average, but also to increase
its participation in the airline
market in Ecuador and in order
to obtain more than 16%. |

Civil Aeronautics
approved new frequencies to
those international destinations.
Avianca returns to England after
six years after having received
the authorization to fly three
weekly frequencies to the United
Kingdom and another three to
Frankfurt. Aerocivil also adjudicated
several frequencies to the USA,
in virtue that 38 weekly frequencies
were assigned. |

Miami-Barranquilla operation on
December 13th |
| The new route,
which will depart at 14.35 hours
from the Atlantic’s capital
and will arrive in Miami at 17.20
hours, will be carried out by
Boeing 737-800 aircrafts. |
| Spirit Airlines
will fly to Cartagena starting
from February |
| The arrival in
Cartagena of Spirit Airlines,
in February 2008, will benefit
passengers with a greater seating
offer to fly to the United States,
and more economical prices. This
low cost airline will allow the
reduction in up to 30% of the
costs of the fares towards the
United States. |

an additional daily Bogota-Houston
frequency |
| Continental requested
to the DOT the authorization to
operate daily night flights between
Houston and Bogota. The flights
will depart from each city in
the evening and will arrive in
the morning. The flight will be
operated with a Boeing 737. |

application to open three new
routes |
| Delta formalized
its application to the North American
Ministry of Transports for the
opening of three new direct routes
that link USA and Colombia. Delta
could operate from Atlanta to
Cali and Medellin, to which it
would fly three and four times
a week, respectively. |
| Accor Hotels expands
its presence |
| Accor Hotels will
expand its offer of its Accor
Hospitality brand to Latin America,
including Colombia. Accor Hospitality
is included in the chain’s
frequent customer program (Compliments)
which allows accumulating points
if the client stays in the Sofitel,
Novolet, Mercure and Ibis networks.
It is probable that Accor will
operate this format in Colombia
in the mid term. |

Airlines increases flights to
Madrid |
| The airline
decided to reinforce its operations
in Spain by increasing two more
weekly flights to its Madrid-Caracas-Madrid
route. As from December 9th,
the company established six
weekly direct frequencies (except
on Wednesdays), from Madrid
to Caracas with a connection
in Ecuador, whilst the Caracas-Madrid
route will operate every day
except on Thursdays, departing
at 17.45 hours. |

| The manager
of Continental Airlines in Panama
said that the second frequency
that was included as from last
January to the city of Houston
will be kept during the next

| The Ritz–Carlton
chain informed that it will
construct a 170 room hotel and
185 luxury residences in the
center of the Mexican capital,
